Two Trashcans and a Teacup

Lyrics

Two trashcans and a teacup
In the morning light they shine
Rust and porcelain whisper
In a world that's so divine

One's empty one's got secrets
Teacup balances on edge
They tell stories of the city
Where the broken keep their pledge

They dance in alleyways
Sing under moon's embrace
Life in odds and ends
Makes us dream again

Two trashcans find the teacup
In an alley veiled by night
They hold tales of the old days
When the world was big and bright

Trashcans hum a low tune
Teacup twirls as if to fly
They remind us of the beauty
In the things we pass on by

They dance in alleyways
Sing under moon's embrace
Life in odds and ends
Makes us dream again

They dance in alleyways
Sing under moon's embrace
Life in odds and ends
Makes us dream again
